3SC gaffer, Festus Allen, has maintained his position as the only
Nigerian manager to have an online presence.

Allen entered the history books last season as the first Nigerian
manager to leverage the power of the internet with his personal
webpage: festusallen.blogspot.com.

Renowned sports firm, Razzmatazz Media, which has offices in Lagos,
Nigeria and Berne, Switzerland, is responsible for editorial
content and management of the blog.

Allen's Shooting Stars already have an online presence at shootingstarssc.net. The other team with a functional online presence in the NPL is Enyimba at enyimbafc.net.

Since the onset of the online revolution, no Nigerian coach has been
able to establish a presence on the internet.

Allen, who beat other managers to the 3SC job has confirmed his status
as Nigeria's "21st century manager."

"We've been working on this project and I'm excited that it's moving
to the next level," the 3SC gaffer told festusallen.blogspot.com

Before the dawn of the new media, players/coaches used to release
exclusive pieces of information to friendly sports scribblers.

However, the situation now is that they can use their homepages to
promote their interest.

The traditional print and electronic media actually like to use these
personalized blogs as authentic sources of information. The advantage
is that information is distributed much faster.
