The supporters in their tens told the official club website reporter shortly after watching the Oluyole Warriors been held to a goalless draw by the Akure based team that they will continue to support the team and the reform programmes being undertaken by the club management through the effort of the commissioner for youth and sport in Oyo state, Dapo Lam Adesina and supported by the state government.

A fan named Seun Olagunju who spoke on behalf of the fans said even though they were disappointed that the team failed to pick all the maximum points they however took solace in a positive approach and good display shown by the players. They noted that the team never gave up until the last whistle as they continue to attack relentlessly but were denied by the Rising Stars solid performance at the back.

A cross section of Shooting Stars fans have told www.shootingstarssc.net that they are satisfied with the progress made so far by the club and thus do not criticize their performance on Saturday at home to Rising Stars of Akure.

“The players did their best in the match but were unlucky in the game although they did not play like they did against Sharks FC they still gave us a good value for our game” he further said that team if given the necessary support and time will be unbeatable in no distance time.

“Football is a funny game you win some and loose some but thank God we did not loose there is still a lot of room for improvement, we know this players are good they only need to work harder to start delivering”

The fans charged the players to put behind them the draw and focus on Wednesday’s game at home to Gombe United which they must also win while also urging them to go out in search of valuable away points.

They also call on the club management not to be distracted by the result as they strive to take the club to the next level.
